Sofía Félix is a  Director of Photography from Sonora, Mexico. She studied Communication and Film in Guadalajara, where she developed a visual approach focused on narrative, emotion, and the construction of cinematic atmospheres. She works across both digital and film formats, exploring the materiality of the image as an essential component of visual storytelling.

Her work spans fiction, documentary, music videos, and commercial projects. She has served as Director of Photography on projects for artists such as Pepe Aguilar, Ed Maverick, Jasiel Núñez, and Gera MX, as well as commercial and branded productions for companies including Lenovo and  Bacardi,

In 2023, she shot her first fiction feature film, Mal Tercio, and received the Jury Award at Reto Docs Oaxaca for the documentary short Behind the Barricade, directed by Melina Martínez. She later completed Tumorrou, a fiction feature film directed by Alek García, which was selected at festivals in Colombia and Capri, Italy. In 2025, she was selected for the Camera Studio at Talents Guadalajara.
