Sofía Félix es cinefotógrafa originaria de Sonora. Estudió Comunicación y Cine en Guadalajara, donde consolidó una mirada visual enfocada en la narrativa, la emoción y la construcción de atmósferas cinematográficas. Trabaja tanto en formato digital como en cine, explorando la materialidad de la imagen como parte del discurso visual.

Su trayectoria abarca ficción, documental y videoclips, habiendo fotografiado proyectos para artistas como Pepe Aguilar, Ed Maverick, Jasiel Núñez y Gera MX. En 2023 fotografió su primer largometraje de ficción, Mal Tercio, y recibió el Premio del Jurado en el Reto Docs Oaxaca por el cortometraje documental Detrás de la barricada, dirigido por Melina Martínez. Posteriormente finalizó Tumorrou, largometraje de ficción dirigido por Alek García, seleccionado en festivales de Colombia y Capri, Italia.

En 2025 fue seleccionada para el Camera Studio de Talents Guadalajara. Su trabajo se distingue por una sensibilidad visual que busca que la imagen no solo acompañe la historia, sino que la sostenga y la eleve desde su esencia.

Sofía Félix is a cinematographer from Sonora, Mexico. She studied Communication and Film in Guadalajara, where she developed a visual approach focused on narrative, emotion, and the creation of cinematic atmospheres. She works both in digital and film formats, exploring the materiality of the image as an expressive tool.

Her work spans fiction, documentary, and music videos, having shot projects for artists such as Pepe Aguilar, Ed Maverick, Jasiel Núñez, and Gera MX. In 2023, she shot her first fiction feature film, Mal Tercio, and received the Jury Award at Reto Docs Oaxaca for the documentary short Behind the Barricade, directed by Melina Martínez. She later completed Tumorrou, a fiction feature film directed by Alek García, which was selected at festivals in Colombia and Capri, Italy.

In 2025, she was selected for the Camera Studio at Talents Guadalajara. Her work is defined by a sensitive and intentional visual language, where the image does not merely accompany the story but sustains and elevates it.
